Russian tourist flow to Tenerife increased by 60%
The research of Tenerife Tourist Board showed a huge increase of Russian tourist flow to the island in 2019. 10 638 passengers visited Tenerife in 2019, it was 60% higher than statistical data in 2018.
Tenerife Tourist Board supposed that the increase was a consequence of two major Russian air companies development. Aeroflot direct flights to Tenerife became daily in 2019, and S7 liners began covering the direct lines to Tenerife every 2 weeks.

Now all adult Russian tourists must pay not €60, but €80 to apply for a visa.
New rules for the issuance of Schengen visas may vary depending on the specific country outside the EU.
The Russian tourist flow to Japan amounted to 23 600 tourists in the first quarter of 2019, and it is 20.8% higher than the flow in 2018.
