  • Tour operators Anex Tour cancel promo tariffs

According to the deputy director of Anex Tour Yana Muromovaya, the company will cancel promotional rates from April 1. Similar decision was also taken by Pegas.

The industry experts say that special discounted rates called promo tariffs as well as low commission caused the crisis in the industry.

  • S7 Group in February increased transportation by 8,5% up to 1 million people

The S7 Group  provided flights to 1.053 million people in February 2019, which is 8.5%  as compared with February 2018. «A significant increase in passenger traffic was due to the expansion of the fleet and the increase in the number of flights on the S7 Airlines route network. Compared to February 2018 S7 Airlines fleet added 14 aircrafts, and the number of new flights increased by 8.8%,» said S7 Commercial Director Group Igor Veretennikov.

  • Thomas Cook plans to buy Biblio-Globus

Thomas Cook bought the Russian tour operator Intourist in 2018, and the company is considering another deal with Biblio-Globus Tour Operator.
