IAG, which heads British Airways and Iberia in particular,\nintends to take advantage of this acquisition to \u00abtransform[its hub] in\nMadrid into a real rival of the four biggest in Europe (Amsterdam, Paris\nCharles De Gaulle, Frankfurt, London). The operation will also enable IAG to\nestablish itself as the market leader in the air transport market between\nEurope, Latin America and the Caribbean. Before the acquisition of Air Europa,\nwhich operates on nearly 70 destinations, IAG claimed 19% of the market share\non these various routes. They are\nencouraging with bookings up +1.9%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abWith the recent snowfall, we are seeing\nan anticipation of bookings this year, especially in the major mountain\nresorts. The\nassets of Wow Air were acquired by USAerospace Associates in September.\nPresident Michele Ballarin announced her intention to restart her activities,\ninitially in October and then postponed to December. Faced with the pressure, the sector has decided to\nlaunch a campaign that will address the criticisms of CO2 emissions. Among the eight sectors\nor fields of activity studied, Tourism and Kuoni France in the \u00abTour Operators\u00bb\ncategory takes first place with an average of 8.13 out of 10, ahead of\nVoyageurs du Monde and Terres d&#8217;Aventure. \u00abThis success is above all the\nsuccess of the teams to whom I dedicate this trophy,\u00bb commented Emmanuel\nFoiry, President of Kuoni France. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.quotidiendutourisme.com\/production\/kuoni-devant-voyageurs-du-monde\/190798\"><em>Quotidien du\nTourisme<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Havas Voyages named best French tourism brand\nby Capital magazine<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the \u00abTravel Agencies\u00bb category,\nHavas Voyages is at the top of the podium. This first place is achieved in a\nparticularly competitive context, marked by innovation and renewed expectations\nof customers who hope to find in \u00abrenovated shops, advice and\nproximity\u00bb.
