Tourist preferences of Russians: active vacation<\/u><\/p>\n

The number of Russians who prefer active\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0vacations\u00a0– hiking, skiing, snowboarding, fishing and hunting grew\u00a0from 23 to 29%. Beach holidays are preferred by residents of Russian capitals and million-plus cities (51%). Active vacation is especially popular among men (39%) and young people up to 34 years old (47%). Treatments in a sanatorium are more often chosen by women (20%) and Russians over 55 years old (16%).\u00a0Excursions\u00a0and trips to\u00a0historic places\u00a0attract Muscovites, citizens of St.\u00a0Petersburg and\u00a0people with higher education (34%).<\/p>\n

Russian tourists were taken off the flight to Tenerife because of chickenpox<\/u><\/p>\n

Russian tourists\u00a0had to stay in\u00a0Tenerife\u00a0as they were prohibited to fly\u00a0due to chickenpox, the mother of the diseased children Alina Khairullina said.\u00a0The news was widely published by general news portals as a case when tourists are taken off the flight due to health problems.<\/p>\n

The number of Russian tourists in Antalya increased by 74% since the beginning of the year.<\/u><\/p>\n

The number of foreign tourists visiting Antalya in the first three months of 2019 increased by 25% and reached 571,207 tourists. Germany and Russia are the primary source\u00a0 markets. 136,689 Russians visited Antalya in January \u2013 March. The share of Russian travelers in total number of foreign visitors reached 23.93%, the first three months of 2019 show increase of 74 %.<\/p>\n

Airlines sell out tickets for April<\/u><\/p>\n

In April airlines sell tickets at\u00a0lower rates.\u00a0To fly to Dubai and back on 12 \u2013 17.04 will cost\u00a013 000 rubles, \u00a0while one way ticket on 10.04 to Dubai will cost\u00a05 000 rubles.\u00a0On\u00a011 \u2013 18.04 the airline Iberia will sell cheap tickets for a direct flight to Tenerife – for fourteen thousand\u00a0rubles. This is a third cheaper than the usual price \u2013\u00a0twenty two thousand rubles.<\/p>\n

TEZ Tourfound a way to cheapen tours to Egypt.<\/u><\/p>\n

TEZ Tour launched a group transfer to the resorts of the Red Sea from Cairo airport. The company believes that this will\u00a0 help to optimize the cost for Egypt package tours, including accommodation in Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh.<\/p>\n
