Experts explained why Emirates cut prices

Emirates Airline’s profit for the first six months of the financial year 2019/2020 was $ 235 million. In addition, from April 1st to September 30th, Emirates transported 29.6 million passengers with a seat occupancy rate of 81.1%, which is 2.3% higher than the same period last year. This is stated in a press release distributed by the company. Such indicators are explained by cheaper fuel and the increased attractiveness of Dubai – this allowed the carrier to increase the number of customers transported there by 7.9%. General director of ART TOUR operator Dmitry Arutyunov confirms: “The destination is so popular that on some days Emirates puts an additional flight, which will be a third flight from Moscow to Dubai. If demand continues, this flight will become daily.”

TourDom.ru readers answered a question if a state of emergency will force them to cancel their trip

Most readers of the TourDom.ru portal are not afraid to go to a country where a state of emergency has been announced. But with one exception – if there is no military action going on. According to preliminary results of the survey, by November 13, 53% of 304 people won’t cancel their trip. The reason for the survey was the emergency regime announced a few days ago in Egyptian Luxor – due to the mass pilgrimage from November 11th to 17th, associated with the celebration of the Prophet Muhammad.
In general, the results show us that 28% will wait until the state of emergency is canceled, 10% were the most wary – they will stay at home, and 9% will prefer another, safer direction.
