Rusia: TPG aumenta los vuelos chárter directos desde Moscú a Tenerife

Tour Operator TPG will increase the amount of direct charter flights from Moscow to Tenerife. In June, July and August there will be 2 flights a week, while in May, September and October there will be 1 flight every 10 days.

 

Turkey and Greece will go up by 20% this year

Tutu.ru portal found out where the tourists will spend this summer, as well as the cost of package tours. Experts studied the statistics on preliminary data (based on search queries and early sales).

“The largest price increase by 20% is shown by Turkey and Greece. The average growth in all destinations is 12%. The least expensive of the TOP-10 popular are Abkhazia, Bulgaria, Vietnam and Russia. At the same time, Abkhazia entered the top 10 popular destinations for this summer, while in 2018 the country was on the 11th place,” the company’s press service commented, noting that in general, the five most popular destinations for the year has not changed: Turkey, Russia, Greece, Tunisia and Cyprus.

Russian tourists choose Malta

At the end of 2018, Malta was visited by 29 thousand Russian tourists, which is 26.5% more than in 2017. Such data was shared by the National Statistical Office of Malta (NSO).

The report notes that the number of overnight stays in hotels on the island increased by 12.5%. However, observers believe that Malta is bound to language schools. Learning English on the island is much cheaper than in the UK.

Airlines started announcing charter summer programs

On February 19 the regular meeting of the working group on issuing permits for charter flights took place at Rosaviatsia. The programs for March, when summer aviation season starts, were approved. From January 15 to February 15, 2019 Russian airlines operated 1312 charter flights (there and back). Experts expect that the volume of charter transportation in March this year 10% more than in March 2018 (1375 flights).

Ural Airlines will take tourists to France

Several flights to France were announced by the Ural Airlines. It is planned that they will start operating flights from the beginning of the summer season from Domodedovo to Bordeaux and Montpellier. Flights to Bordeaux will begin from June 1 and will be operated on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays; to Montpellier – from June 2 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Also, in the spring, the airline intends to open direct flights from Zhukovsky Airport to Nice and Paris.

S7 Airlines launches flights to Nice

Starting from June 1 S7 Airlines launches direct regular flights from St. Petersburg to Nice, the flights will be operated twice a week: on Wednesdays and Saturdays. This message was published on the official portal of the airline.

AZUR air launched regular flights on the route Moscow – Cancun

The airline AZUR air transferred flights between Moscow and Cancun in regular status. Prior to the beginning of the spring-summer schedule, flights will be operated with a frequency of three times a week.  The opening of regular flights to Cancun corresponds to the long-term development program of the airline, which implies a further expansion of the route network at the expense of medium and long-haul destinations.

IFly opens flights from Zhukovsky

Based in Vnukovo charter airline iFly will launch flights from Moscow Zhukovsky Airport in February. According to the information on the Zhukovsky website, on February 21 iFly started flying to the Chinese resort city of Sanya (Hainan Island).  Last year iFly received the admission to operate regular flights to Athens, Milan and Helsinki. IFly press service confirmed to Interfax that they are discussing the flights opening with the airport in the first half of 2019.
