Thomas Cook has become the sole owner of all shares of ITC Travel Investments (Russian tour operator “Intourist”). “The deal is the next step in position strengthening of one of the world tourism leaders in our market,” the press service of Intourist commented.
The company Aturis-Tour announced the termination of tour operator activities due to the inability to fulfill its obligations under all agreements on the sale of the tourist product. This is stated in an official statement on the company’s website published on the evening of December 29. It should be noted that the supplier of travel services was excluded from the register at Rosturizm on December 25, among other 57 tour operators who could not reinsure after the revocation of the license from the insurance company “Yakor”.
The Russian tour operator Pegas Touristik has refused to operate flights to Goa from January 12, 2019. It is reported by The Times of India, citing a representative of the service company Cicerone Air Transport Services Joao Xavier Miranda.
According to him, the travel services supplier, which made about 300 flights per season, is no longer interested in destination. This is due not only to the growing tariffs for servicing the aircraft fleet, but also the unreasonably high hotel prices in Goa.
S7 Airlines will open direct regular flights from Moscow to Nice from April 28, 2019, the airline reports. Flights will be operated daily, except Wednesday, on Airbus A320 aircraft. As noted, Moscow – Nice will be the first regular S7 flight to France.
