The French spend an average of €2,277 for their holidays

Tripadvisor publishes the results of its annual TripBarometer study, conducted by the Ipsos MORI Institute among 21,500 travellers worldwide, including 2,254 French. They were asked about their habits before and during their stay. While 17% of travellers worldwide book their stay each year at the same time, the French are more willing to book when they find a good deal (14%).  However, one in three French people are willing to change their destination if they find a cheaper flight.  Quotidien du Tourisme

Why Paradors in Spain are going green

The Spanish State, which still owns the «Paradores de Turismo de España» chain, has announced that its 97 establishments will only use electricity from renewable sources. Seychelles limits the capacity of new hotels

New tourist accommodation on the inland islands of the Seychelles archipelago shall not exceed 24 rooms. The extension of the moratorium already in force was decided at the last cabinet meeting in 2018, as reported by the Seychelles News Agency. According to data from the Ministry of Tourism, Seychelles has nearly 589 tourist accommodations with 6,332 rooms. Ryanair again voted worst airline in the United Kingdom

For the sixth consecutive year, Ryanair finished at the bottom of the list from Which Travel’s annual survey of airline services. Passengers gave the airline the lowest possible rating for boarding, seating comfort, food and beverages and cabin environment. And Ryanair got a customer score of 40%, compared to 63% for easyJet.
