Emirates will launch the third daily flight to Moscow
The airline announced the launch of the third daily flight on the route Dubai — Moscow. The new flight will be operated by Boeing 777-300ER in a three-class layout with 8 First class personal cabins, 42 fully folding seats in Business and 310 spacious seats in the Economy class.
The flight will appear in the winter schedule from October 25, 2018. Departure from Domodedovo will be at 10: 40 am, landing in Dubai at 16:55. The return flight EK173 will depart from Dubai at 03:30 and arrive in Moscow at 07: 50, with the change to winter time, the schedule will be shifted for 30 minutes.
The new flights will improve accessibility and will help to increase the traffic to the following destinations: Bali, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Kathmandu, Colombo, Kuala Lumpur, Mauritius, Maldives and Singapore.
In addition, the new flight will offer additional connections in Domodedovo with an extensive network of domestic flights operated by S7 Airlines, which is Emirates ‘ codeshare partner in Russia.
Tunisair has opened flights to Vnukovo

The national airline of Tunisia Tunisair has opened flights to Moscow Vnukovo airport, as announced the press service of the airport.
The company will operate flights from two cities: three times a week from Monastir and once a week from Tunis.
Airbus A320, A319 and Boeing 737-500 will be used to transport passengers.
Polish airline will launch direct flights from Warsaw to Domodedovo

Polish airline » LOT » has opened flights from Warsaw to Moscow Domodedovo airport, was announced by the press service of the airport.
Flights will be daily. Embraer aircrafts will be used for transportation.
Previously, the airline operated flights from Warsaw only to Moscow Sheremetyevo airport. In the summer schedule, the Polish airline will fly twice a day to Sheremetyevo and once to Domodedovo.

Foreign airlines can compensate the reduced number of charter flights
Russian tour operators will be able to contract foreign airlines for Charter flights. The Federal air transport Agency will consider applications from foreign carriers «as an exception and for a limited period.»
Last week in Federal Air Transport Agency the meeting was held with the participation of representatives of Russian tour operators and airlines. Among other topics, they gave consideration to the shortage of aircrafts which provide the transportation of tourists in the summer.
According to the CEO of the largest Russian consolidator of airline and railway ticket sales, travel and related services «Vipservis» Dmitry Gorin, the tour operators asked the Federal air transport Agency to consider the possibility of foreign airlines to operate charter flights in collaboration with Russian tour in July.
Ozon.Travel focuses on the ticket selling business
Online travel Agency Ozon.Travel will stop providing services of hotels and tours booking. On the 6th of June the CEO of Ozon.Travel Mikhail Osin confirmed to the professional portal TourDom.ru the message posted in the group “Travel Startups” on Facebook. He also stated that for previously issued orders there will be support provided. They aim at investing in technology and attracting talented developers to improve the product and customer service.
Experts note that Ozon.Travel initially entered the tourist market as a seller of tickets. Services for hotels and tours booking appeared later and required big financial investments. However, it is believed that the payback period turned out to be too long and further development of new services is considered unpromising.
Russians are asked to refrain from traveling to Emirates
On the 5th of June a member of the Committee on social policy Vladimir Kruglyi stated that the Federation Council recommended Russians to refrain from travels to UAE if possible, because of the warning of Rospotrebnadzor about respiratory syndrome in the middle East.
«All these newly appeared, newly registered, apparently not yet fully studied cases of the disease, of course, can be dangerous for tourists and we must be ready for this. People who are coming to the country, for example, from the Russian Federation, don’t have the immunity against such diseases», – quoted the statement of Mr. Kruglyi TV channel of the Federation Council «Together-Russia». Mr. Kruglyi noted that if the decision to travel has already been made, the special protective equipment should be used.
